Last weekend was totally fun albeit being hectic nearly half the time. I’ve been doing alot of traveling lately, driving by means which really surprised me because I usually hated driving that much. I went for an outing and dinner with Elaine and Gary in OU on Friday night. Since it was a Friday, we decided to dine in Friday’s – simply the best way to resolve the indecisiveness, haha. Great meal with great company who talks about every nonsense there is in the world.

Saturday kicked off with my first ever job interview in Mandarin Oriental at freaking 8.00am in the morning. With the lack of sleep, the whole clumsiness and being totally unprepared for it, I guess I was lucky it still went quite alright – as in no major screwing :p The adventurous Tiki decided we should go hunt for this cool hang out place uphill in Ulu Langat that night. There was occasional drizzle every now and then and when we finally arrived, it was simply breathtaking – both the spectacular sight of the KL city and also the really chilly and cold mountain breeze.

These photos can’t really tell but it was freezing cold up here, prolly with the rain enhancing the temperature even lower. There were four restaurants uphill but I decided we should go for the one which we believed was the genuine Look Out Point Restaurant. Plus Roze heard some good reviews of about 60 different types of delicacies served there. The food turned out great too, well at least for my lamb chop which I think was priced rather cheap for such a big portion. I had an iced chocolate too which literally gave me a brain freeze because I could barely remember how cold was I that time.
Take a look at the magnificent view of the hustles and bustles of the Kuala Lumpur city centre. You gotto experience it.
A group photo of the four of us. One couple got stupidly annoyed with my flash gun which was directed upwards and certainly not on him or his date. I almost wanted to tell him off but they left shortly after noticing more people with cameras came onboard. Go live in the cave if you are camera shy, dude.

The rest of the night was even more interesting. Roze bought Wii not too long ago and invited us for a game at her place. She had a really awesome bargain for the console and I tell you, Wii is damn fun! We played assorted sports games like bowling, tennis and golf which was very realistic I would say. Then we went on to play this really challenging one called Marble Mania, where you have to have a really good sense of balance to control your gummy ball. We kinda lost balance towards the wee hours of the morning, ya’know why.

That night itself, I was lucky enough to meet Raja Chulan for the first and also last time in Tiki’s place where he sorta reluctantly camwhored. Poor little cat, always remember I’ll look out Tikiman while you’re away so you can rest in peace and be a real king in your world right now.
That pretty much concluded the entire weekend. A mixture of bitter and sweet, till then.
“Damn, I like the phrase cos that’s so me,” claimed smashpOp once we got the goodie bags when we reached. lol

A couple of days back, I attended a bloggers’ gathering organised by the HAPPY team as part of the recent launch of happy moments. It was kind of a cool hang out held in Cafe Libre somewhere in Taman Desa. The first thing I noticed when we reached there was the Nintendo Wii, which got most of us all excited either watching or playing them.

Then there was this movie trivia questions where the host, David will throw in ‘reeaaally difficult questions’ and the usual rule, first to raise their hands will get to answer and ultimately win a small gift. But I was too damn slow cos I tell ya, these bloggers are buncha very swift people.. hehe

There was also the who-can-last-the-longest-on-hula-hoops contest and after that we were all just mingling around, chilling out and chit chatting with one another.

A group photo before we part. I didn’t really get to know everyone in person but it was definitely a happy outing.

Oh btw, any bloggers who wish to participate in happy moments can do so by simply writing an entry on what makes you happy on your personal blog and send them your blog entry link. Not forgetting, thanks Jason for bringing me along.
